Heading into his 8th year as head coach, Nick Petrov has guided the HC team to a dual meet record of 119-27. Individually, Coach Petrov has produced 16 state qualifiers, including 12 placewinners.

Coach Petrov wrestled at TF South HS in Lansing and also wrestled for Valparaiso University.

John Willems enters his 8th season as the HC assistant coach. Coach Willems is a former HC wrestler and was a 4 year starter at Northern Illinois University.

Eric Howe enters his 4th season as an assistant coach. Eric is a former HC wrestler and a former Purdue University wrestler.

Coach Howe was a 2X state qualifier and placed 3rd as a senior.

Todd Staples is a former HC wrestler who is actively involved in veterans wrestling.

Coach Staples also assists with the Rick Larsen Freestyle Wrestling Club.

Coach Stevens enters his 2nd year on the HCW staff.

Coach Stevens is a graduate of Merrillville HS where he was a 3X state qualifier and 2X state place-winner.

Coach Myers enters his first year on the HCW staff.

Coach Myers is a graduate of Crown Point HS where he was a 2X state place-winner and also a key member of the Crown Point 2009 state championship team.
